Cycling
Course uses Shawnee Park and Chicashaw Park, west of downtown Louisville. For those of you who use Google Earth or a similar tool, the coordinates of the finish line for the 5K/20K is: 38 15'29.30 N 85 49'41.97 W. The starting line for the 5K/1K is approximately 25 meters in a counterclockwise direction from the finish; the starting line for the 20K is approximately 100 meters in the same direction. The course loop is roughly 5 kilometers in length.
The 5K/1K time trial will begin at 10 a.m. The 20K criterium heats will begin at approximately 11 a.m. The course is a relatively easy 15-20 ride from the downtown hotels; additional information will be available at registration.
A mandatory safety check will be performed at the race start.
