Everything was great and we look forward to 2006. Being a transplant recipient and having the opportunity to work and compete helped me to refocus and realize what's important in life and to apply that in my everyday life. Great Job! --Dan Newhouse, Kidney Transplant Recipient, Team Upstate NY
Team Indiana would also like to thank everyone involved in making the Games such a wonderful success. I couldn't have asked for a better time or for anything to go more smoothly. [My team members] were all hitting me up at the closing ceremony with ideas on making 2006 bigger and better and are ready to hit the ground running. I'm looking forward to doing it all again over the next two years and seeing all the friends I've made along the way. - Tricia Behringer, Team Indiana Manager
It is rare to see so many people enjoying themselves so much at a [5K] race. The encouragement amongst the fans and athletes was outstanding. --John Magnuson, ChampionChip Minnesota
“It’s challenging to find words to describe such an inspiring event. I cried or laughed all week from the inspiration and joy that I felt, being in the company of so many brave souls. - Gaea Shaw, Transplant Recipient, Team Colorado
My family and I had a great time. We made some great memories and new friends. I even won a medal in Golf, but I've come to realize that it is not about the medals. It is a time to celebrate our lives. It also gives us a good reason to get into better shape and don't' take our health for granted. - Randy O'Neil
This was my first Transplant Games. It was an incredible experience.
Thanks for everything... - Joel P Kollin, Team Georgia
Team Nebraska had a wonderful time, and we truly enjoyed meeting so many athletes and donor families from across the nation. - Nancy Peters, Team Nebraska Manager
