The lines on Kevin's quilt square are from the writings of Antoine De Saint-Exupery. These lines were used on Thank You notes to people who expressed sympathy. The note was also on the quilt square, complete with the gold stars. I am Kevin's Grandmother and I had to work on the lines to make them fit.
I do see Kevin in one of the stars - he is in the brightest and most shining one in the sky. Sometimes his star is the only one in a sky of black. I feel he is there because the first time I spoke to Kevin's star - "a star fell to the ground". On another occasion, a star "shot across the sky". It is comforting to me to speak to Kevin's star.
