More important than how we live is how we spend each day. Beth had a happy fifteen years of life because she was totally involved in it. By her own choice, she had very little "spare" time. Cheerleading was Beth's passion. She loved everything about it. She cheered in elementary and middle schools and was a high school varsity cheerleader when she died, so, of course, a cheerleader had to be on her quilt square. Creating the square reminded me of the relationships and camaraderie that we enjoyed as part of the cheerleading entourage. Beth had fun and was fun to be with. She was dependable and could be counted on to do her part. Even in death she continued to give of herself.
