Information & Resources
If you're considering donating a kidney or a partial liver, lung or pancreas to someone in need, take an active role in the process by gathering information about the donation process, surgical options, risks and recovery. Armed with questions and facts, you'll be better prepared for conversations with your health care team and family.
For answers to common questions and important information about living donation, check out the Q&A on Living Donation and the National Kidney Foundation's Required Reading for potential donors. Links will direct you to additional information from NKF and related organizations.
Because we're always adding new resources in response to the needs expressed by living donors and those considering donation, we'd love to hear your recommendations. Contact us with your suggestions!
