Living donors celebrate after the Living Donor Recognition Event at the 2004 Games
The National Kidney Foundation's U.S. Transplant Games is an Olympic-style athletic competition for organ transplant recipients and includes additional events and programs for living donors, donor families and health care professionals.
Hosted in even-numbered years in different cities throughout the country, the Games bring together all of those touched by donation in a tribute to transplantation and those who gave the gift of life.
