A Kidney for Life
My father has diabetes, heart disease (2 heart attacks and an emergency quadruple bypass surgery) and shortly after that his kidneys began to fail. I have to say that after watching him go through all that I was ready to do just about anything I could to help him.

A Stranger's Gift
In November 2005, I found out that a man at my parent's church needed a kidney. I had never met him, nor did I know anything about him, but for some reason I had so much compassion in my heart for him that I wanted to get tested to see if we were a match.
