There are many ways that you can help the National Kidney Foundation develop and implement programs and resources.
Make a Financial Contribution
As a non-profit organization, the National Kidney Foundation depends entirely on public and private donations. If you are interested in supporting the NKF's programs as an individual or corporate contributor, please contact us to learn more about the following opportunities or:
- Support a Project, Program or Resource
Contribute toward a specific project, program or resource such as a brochure or recognition event. Contributors will receive a dedication in print or sign. For more information about supporting the National Kidney Foundation click here. - Voluntary Membership Contribution
Membership in the National Kidney Foundation and councils is free. However, families who wish to make a contribution to support the costs of the website and member publications and mailings may do so. - General Donation
Make a non-specific financial contribution to support NKF programs, activities and research. General donations can be made via the NKF website or by sending a check to: National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. - Corporate Donations
If you represent a corporation and would like to offer financial support or in-kind contributions, please contact the NKF at 800.622.9010 to learn about corporate sponsorship opportunities.
Volunteer
If you live in the New York metro area, please contact us to learn more about volunteer opportunities in our office. Outside New York City, contact the National Kidney Foundation affiliate in your area about getting involved.
Want to help from home? Consider the following opportunities:
- Monitor the message board to ensure that comments are addressed in a sensitive manner, and to report anything inappropriate to the moderator.
- Contribute your own transplant related story, poem, or book review.
