About this event
It's been too long since we've been together!
This year, we'll be at Boulevard Drive-In, with Back to the Future as our featured film.
- Join us for a fun-filled evening of entertainment
- See all your friends
- Feel safe in a socially distanced environment
- Come dressed in your favorite Back to the Future decade
- Best of all, feel great making the fight against kidney disease possible
The Magic of Giving Celebration is a lot of fun but it's also an awareness campaign and an opportunity to raise critical funds for the National Kidney Foundation's continued work toward an end to kidney disease. The celebration highlights those whose lives have been impacted by chronic kidney disease and features entertainment, a silent auction, and the Patrick and Virginia Clune Award of Excellence. Funds raised support lifesaving programs for patients, their families and those at risk.
Let the Fun Begin
The perfect date night, a fun friends get together, or a family adventure!
The Magic of Giving Celebration is a fun-filled evening which raises critical awareness and funds to meet the evolving needs of the kidney community.
Patrick & Virginia Clune Award
First awarded in 2013, the Patrick & Virginia Clune Award of Excellence is presented to an outstanding person, corporation and/or medical professional in the greater Kansas City community who has achieved great accomplishments toward the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease.
As parents of childrend who suffered from childhood nephrosis, Patrick and Virginia Clune felt is was important to bring awareness to the disease and to build a network of support for other parents and their children. At the urging of their child's nephrologist, the Clunes created the local chapter of the National Kidney Foundation here in Kansas City over 60 years ago.
Our sincerest thanks go to the following sponsors whose gifts keep us fighting!
