The National Kidney Foundation's 3rd Annual Great Chefs of the Midwest welcomes patrons from the Wichita area who are passionate about great food and raising money for an important cause. The event features chefs from more than 10 of Wichita's Top restaurants. Chefs are encouraged to pull out the stops in competition for the Best Dish award.
Great Chefs of the Midwest will undoubtedly be the highlight following restaurant week, and Wichita's foodie event of the season. With an all-star gathering of food and drinks, music and exciting auctions, it's impossible to duplicate unless you attempt a very long night out on the town with an unlimited budget. To top it off, it's all for a great cause.
The National Kidney Foundation is pleased to have Josh Rathbun, Executive Chef at Siena Tuscan Steakhouse returning as chef chair for the 2019 3rd annual Great Chefs of the Midwest. Chef Josh received the gift of life from his cousin when Brett Rathbun donated his kidney in 2013. Josh is excited to bring together Wichita's top chefs in support of raising awareness and treatment of kidney disease!
