About this event
The NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic at Winged Foot Golf Club, hosted on October 18th this year, is one of the premier amateur golf events for charity in the country! The East and West Courses are open to us in 2021 and we are expecting some heavy competition amidst the Winged Foot reputation for fun.
We are always thrilled to return to Winged Foot, the host of the 2020 U.S. Open last September. The course, their staff, the clubhouse and amenities and tradition make for an unforgettable day. The tournament includes:
- Welcome gift bag
- Full Clubhouse/locker room access
- Putting Green and Driving Range access
- Your caddies (2 per team)
- Signature buffet & other food/drink options all day
- Hole contests, including a chance at a luxury car
- Awards Ceremony for the Top Finishers and contest winners
Courses will be assigned to each team for a Shotgun Start at 12:00pm. Top finishing teams (Gross and Handicap Index Divisions combined) are once again invited to compete in the National Finals held over 3-days at the famed Pebble Beach Resorts in January 2022. (NOTE: NKF reserves the right to change the starting format to Tee Times due to COVID-19 conditions and/or changes to NY State Department of Health guidelines. Thank you, we want everyone to be safe!)
Out of respect for our immunocompromised guests, masks are required in and around the clubhouse. Winged Foot Golf Club has an increased focus on sanitation and restrictions due to COVID-19. The National Kidney Foundation will also follow all state regulations and CDC guidelines that may evolve as the tournament nears.

Your team(s) can play in either the Handicap Index Division or the Gross Division, providing you and your guests with a social yet challenging day of golf whether you are a low handicapper or a duffer like me. Each Handicap Index Division team can only have one player with a handicap index of 8.0 or less and the total combined handicap index for your four players must be 42.0 or more. The Gross Division is for teams whose golfers do not have an official USGA Handicap Index or do not meet the above Handicap Index requirements.
This is the top tournament in the country for the National Kidney Foundation and we plan to keep it that way! By joining us at this year’s tournament, not only will you have a fun day and the full Winged Foot experience but you will also help support the lifesaving programs and services NKF provides every day. COVID-19 has had a profound impact on NKF and we continue to learn how the virus damages kidneys and, unfortunately, creates new kidney patients. Thank you!
We continue to go Mobile in 2021 to share news and updates with golfers, offer Mulligans and Supertickets for purchase and even to score your round and follow the Leaderboard!
A note for out-of-state golfers: There are currently NO quarantine or testing requirements for asymptomatic domestic travelers.
