You’re guaranteed to score a hole in one for charity just by teeing off, so grab your woods and irons and show your mettle by taking part in the National Kidney Foundation’s Golf Classic events held in cities across the country throughout the year.
The events are a nationwide series of over 60 amateur tournaments. Amateur golfers, male and female, are welcome to play the field in four-person teams using a scramble format. Eligible teams consist of four amateur players whose USGA Handicap Indexes total 42.0 or more, and only one golfer on each team may have a Handicap Index of 8.0 or less.
The winning foursome and second-place qualifiers will be invited to compete in the NKF Golf Classic’s National Finals at California’s famed Pebble Beach Resorts. Golfers will also vie for prizes provided by national sponsors including PING, Golf Digest and Tourneau.
