The National Kidney Foundation/Patient & Family Council Susan Belkin Caregiver Memorial Award
This award recognizes an outstanding caregiver, who through personal experience and activity has demonstrated his or her commitment to improving the quality of life for a family member with chronic kidney disease or kidney failure.
The award was named in honor of the late Susan Belkin for her commitment to individuals with chronic kidney disease through her work on legislation, rehabilitation, consumer advocacy and education as a PFC Executive Committee member. During her tenure, Susan was the voice of the caregiver serving as the primary caregiver for her husband Ron Belkin.
