Meet Joey – an Inspiring Story

There are many faces of kidney disease. Diabetes and high blood pressure are the leading causes of kidney disease, the kidney are affected by many other diseases. As part of our "Many Faces of Kidney Disease" campaign, the NKFI introduces Joey, a teenager who has an encouraging story about kidney disease and a wonderful outlook on life. Fort Wayne Golf Surpasses Goal

The NKFI/ Steel Dynamics 10th Annual Golf Classic held in June surpassed their fundraising goal! Thanks to the co-host Steel Dynamics, committee, sponsors and participants whose contributions raised over $200,000! The two winning teams from the Bridgewater Golf Club (E east & West) are participating in a special golf tournament "Gator Classic" in Sarasota, Florida in November.

Keep Your Kidney's Healthy with KEEP

The NKFI hosts KEEP (Kidney Early Evaluation Program) screenings all year and throughout the state. The KEEP is free. If you or your family has have high blood pressure, diabetes or family history of kidney disease then you are encouraged to attend a screening.
