Living with PD: What can I do?
Tips for living with PD
- Wash hands often and practice good personal hygiene.
- Keep your treatment room clean; no pets or young children in the room.
- You may swim in pools or the ocean, but not in lakes.
- You may take showers but not baths.
- Perform every exchanges and dwell time as recommended.
- Keep your PD clinic appointments.
- Take all medications as prescribed by your healthcare team.
