Lecture series providing nephrologists, nephrology nurse practitioners, transplant providers, and those who care for patients with CKD (cardiologists, endocrinologists and nurse practitioners) with an opportunity to network as well as engaging presentations on issues that are relevant to their practice and patients. Three dinner and lecture events will be held throughout the year with highly regarded speakers and thought leaders in CKD.

The Big Ask: The Big Give — Finding a Living Donor
There will be 3 sessions in 2022.
The National Kidney Foundation’s initiative to increase living donation and provide information to those who may be considering donating a kidney. The workshop provides waitlisted patients along with their family and friends, the tools and strategies they need to share their story and find a living donor.

Kidney Support Groups — Monthly
The National Kidney Foundation has partnered with social workers at dialysis centers in Denver and Southern Colorado to provide support group meetings, six timers per year.

NKF Colorado Konica Minolta Golf Classic — June 27, 2022 at The Club at Ravenna
The National Kidney Foundation Konica Minolta Golf Classic is the nation’s Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity. Each year thousands of golfers from across the country participate in 30 events across the U.S. for the exciting competition and the chance to earn an invitation to the National Finals at Pebble Beach—while raising over $3.5 million for the NKF. Kidney Patient Education Symposium - February 2023
The National Kidney Foundation’s Patient Education Symposium is an opportunity to bring together anyone affected by kidney disease (pre-dialysis, dialysis, ESRD, transplant, living donors, care givers and family members) to learn about topics which concern the patient and their entire family. Previous topics have included: dialysis modality options, nutrition, coping with a chronic illness, finding and becoming a living donor. The Patient Education Symposium is attended by patients, family members and the community and is sponsored by those interested in reaching patients directly and supporting education about CKD.

Great Chefs of the West – March 2023 in Denver, CO
The 40th Annual Great Chefs of the West (GCW) benefiting the National Kidney Foundation welcomes patrons from across Colorado who are passionate about good food and raising money for a good cause. Great Chefs of the West is the premier kidney community event of the year. Great Chefs of the West is a highlight in Denver following restaurant week, and Denver’s foodie event of the season. With an all-star gathering of top local chefs preparing amazing food and drinks, live music and live and silent auctions it truly is a celebration and all for a great cause.
