The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is currently hiring interns for the Delaware Valley Division in the following areas:
- Development/Special Events
QUALIFICATIONS: College student with a related major (Communication, Marketing, Journalism, English, etc.)
The NKF is looking for interns to help the Development Team with the planning of our special events - Kidney Walk(s), NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic, Kidney Ball, etc. Responsibilities include securing in-kind donations, media relations, logistics management, fundraising, and more. Candidate must be detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, responsible, and outgoing. Ideal candidate is an individual who wants to learn more about working at a major non-profit organization while gaining valuable communication skills. Experience in event planning and/or fundraising is a plus.
HOURS: Flexible, between 9am-4pm (12 to 16 hours per week unless specified otherwise by University requirements)
2-3 positions available for each semester: Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Our internships are unpaid, but are available for school credit where needed. Interns will work out of the Delaware Valley office in Old City, Philadelphia, which is easily accessible by public transportation.
