Dr. Roslyn Bernstein Mannon is a Professor of Internal Medicine, and Professor of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Vice-Chair for Research for the Department of Internal Medicine and Associate Chief of Research in the Division of Nephrology. A Duke-trained nephrologist, Dr. Mannon is a translational investigator focused on late kidney allograft outcomes. She has published over 250 peer-reviewed publications on chronic allograft failure and post-transplant complications and therapeutics. Dr. Mannon is a past president of the American Society of Transplantation and is a Deputy Editor of the American Journal of Transplantation. She is a Trustee of the Banff Foundation for Allograft Pathology, and Medical Director of the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients. She has a lengthy history of advocacy for transplant recipients and was instrumental in the development of the Transplant Therapeutic Consortium, a private-public partnership with FDA to develop new clinical trial endpoints to invigorate the transplant therapeutic pipeline. Dr. Mannon achievements were recognized in 2022 with the American Society of Transplantation’s Senior Achievement Award in Clinical Transplantation and in 2024 as a recipient of the American Association of Kidney Patients Medal of Excellence.
