About SCM

The Spring Clinical Meetings (SCM) is NKF's premiere educational event designed for the interprofessional kidney health team. SCM presents a unique opportunity for busy renal health care professionals to explore innovation, research, and best clinical practice within nephrology.

The NKF 2026 Spring Clinical Meetings will take place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA with pre-conference courses on May 6, 2026 and the main conference running from May 7–10, 2026.

SCM Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Identify advances in clinical and translational research and healthcare delivery that will impact the care of patients with kidney disease.

Integrate best practices in diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic kidney diseases, kidney failure, kidney transplantation and replacement therapies, hypertension, and electrolyte and other kidney-related disorders.
