What is the difference between In Person and On-Demand attendance?

SCM full In-Person registration provides access to all live content presented at SCM and access to SCM On-Demand.

SCM On-Demand registration includes virtual access to recordings of all general sessions within 48 hours of the live presentation. SCM On-Demand content is typically available for approximately six weeks after the conference ends. In-Person event attendance, pre-conference courses, workshops, and networking events are not included in the SCM On-Demand registration option.

If I choose to attend the full conference in-person, will I also be granted access to the On-Demand sessions for later viewing?

By registering for the full in-person event, you will gain access to watch the recorded sessions at your convenience through the SCM mobile app or online. Full in-person attendees will have access to all On-Demand content. Please note, SCM is not a live streamed event and pre-conference courses and workshops are not included in SCM On-Demand.

The program is finalized in the fall and will be published on the SCM27 portal. We will share a direct link to the program as soon as it's finalized.

What is a Pre-Conference Course?

Pre-Conference Courses take place the day before the main meeting, on Tuesday, May 11. Attendees can choose from half-day or full-day courses, each dedicated to in-depth learning on a specific topic. Meals are included; full-day courses include breakfast and lunch, while half-day courses include lunch only. Pre-Conference Courses are not recorded or available through SCM On-Demand, ensuring an exclusive, interactive experience for those who register separately and attend in person.

What Pre-Conference Courses are offered at SCM27?

The program is finalized in the fall and will be published on the SCM27 portal. We will share a direct link to the program as soon as it's finalized.

What is SCM On-Demand?

On-Demand includes general sessions that are being held live in Orlando and recorded. Pre-Conference Courses that take place on May 11 are not recorded or included in On-Demand. Continuing Education (CE/CME)

How do I claim credit?

The program is finalized in the fall and will be published on the SCM27 portal. We will share a direct link to the portal with full instructions for claiming credit soon.

Why am I required to complete pre and posttests?

Due to the challenge of selectively administering the pre/post-test to learners based on their specific discipline, all participants attending sessions that incorporate a pre-post-test are requested to complete both assessments.

I am a pharmacist. Will the CE credit be considered “Live CE”?

The in-person and On-Demand formats of SCM are accredited for live credit. I recommend you monitor your CPE monitor in early June to confirm the credit type. This way, if we have to correct it for any reason we can do so before the program closes on June 28, 2027.

I completed more session requirements but, my credits total isn’t updating – what can I do to fix this?

If you return to complete more sessions after you initially claimed credit, select the “Change” button within the necessary certificate section. Doing so will trigger the page to refresh and your Credits Claimed total to be updated. This will also generate an updated certificate for you to download.
