Lisa Hall, MSSW, LICSW, FNKF has dedicated her career to improving the care, experience, and quality of life of people with kidney disease. As a dialysis social worker, she has served in ESRD Network programs for 24 years and is currently Patient Services Director for Comagine Health.

Her national contributions include more than two decades of volunteer service with NKF; leadership with NKF’s Council of Nephrology Social Workers from 2007–2025; and service since 2009 as an ESRD Network liaison to the Forum of ESRD Networks Kidney Patient Advisory Council. Lisa helped develop and lead the Kidney Community Emergency Response (KCER) Coalition and continues this work through the Kidney Health Analytics and Responsive Emergency Support (KHARES) Leadership Committee.

She also served as a technical writer for CMS Interpretive Guidance addressing ESRD patient rights, emergency preparedness, and patient care planning. Her publications and national presentations have advanced nephrology social work practice, vocational rehabilitation, emergency preparedness, psychosocial care, and patient experience.

Her honors include the AAKP Samuel J. Orenstein Award, CMS Special Recognition for KCER leadership, and NKF of Florida’s Exemplary Social Work Practice Award.

Her career reflects an enduring commitment to ensuring that the patient voice remains central to kidney care.
