Nina Factor, CCHT
Nina Y. Factor, MS, is an experienced hemodialysis clinical technician and patient care coordinator with over two decades of expertise in nephrology care and biomedical research. She began her career in microbiology, serving as a junior research fellow and senior lab assistant at the R & D Institute of Epidemiology in Lviv, Ukraine, where she focused on tuberculosis and mycobacterial disease drugs. After moving into clinical practice, Nina gained extensive experience in both acute and chronic dialysis settings, working in hospitals, outpatient centers, and vascular access coordination.
Her career includes roles at Greenfield Health System, Henry Ford Health, Michigan Vascular Access, Fresenius Medical Care, and Rockford Health Systems, where she consistently provided direct patient care, assisted with vascular access coordination, and supported hospital teams in managing dialysis treatments and emergencies.
Currently, Nina works in home dialysis, supporting patients in managing their treatments independently while ensuring safety, education, and improved quality of life. Fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, she brings a unique global perspective to patient care. Nina is committed to advancing patient outcomes through compassionate care, technical expertise, and ongoing professional development.
