Janelle Gonyea RDN, LD, FNKF is a registered dietitian with 30 years of experience as a renal dietitian at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, working with chronic kidney disease patients during all stages of their disease process and across all treatment options.
In addition to patient care, Janelle has served on the Executive Committee of the Council on Renal Nutrition as Renalink editor, education content creator and reviewer and Spring Clinical Meeting planning committee chair as well as coordinator for preconference workshops, and received their Susan C. Knapp Award for Excellence in Education and Outstanding Service Award. Currently she serves on the Home Dialysis Hub Committee for NKF’s Project ECHO. She has also served as program content creator for various patient and professional organizations including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Association of Kidney Patients, the American Kidney Fund and the Midwest Kidney Network. Janelle has had a lifelong passion for all things related to Nephrology and enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with others to promote patient advocacy and the advancement of care for kidney disease.
With 30 years of experience as a renal dietitian, Janelle has guided patients through every stage of chronic kidney disease and treatment.
