Jessica Rodriguez, ACSW, MSW
Social Worker, Azusa Dialysis Center
Jessica Rodriguez is an Associate Clinical Social Woker currently working at Azusa Dialysis Center. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s in sociology and a minor in criminal justice. Jessica moved on to get her Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Los Angeles two years later. Jessica is passionate about being a social worker, and becoming one since she was a teen. She is currently gaining her clinical hours to become a Licensed Clinical Social worker.
Though newer to the field, Jessica has learned a great amount about navigating the medical and social work field while working in nephrology. Jessica works with patients, their families, and nursing/rehabilitation homes to advocate for patients and provide the best possible care. Though all days are not easy, Jessica loves the work that she does on a daily basis. She emphasizes that kindness, empathy, and patience are essential when working in this field. She also stresses engaging in self-care. Jessica is appreciative of the team at C.D.M.S., inc/ADC, and would like to thank her clinical supervisor Michael Cervantes, LCSW for nominating her for this award. Jessica is the first recipient at C.D.M.S., Inc. to win a national award.

Jessica believes that self-care, kindness, and empathy are just as important for providers as they are for patients.
