Lydia Johnson is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with over a decade of leadership and clinical experience in the kidney care community. As a Manager focused on Home Dialysis for DaVita’s National Social Work Team, Lydia champions collaborative care by partnering with fellow clinicians and interdisciplinary leaders nationwide.
Guided by a commitment to community connection and education, Lydia serves on the advisory board of Healio’s Nephrology News & Issues and the steering committee for ASN’s Centers of Excellence in Home Dialysis. Their ongoing partnership with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a particular highlight of this connection—including serving on the Hub Committee of the Home Dialysis Project Echo series, participating as an occasional guest on NKF podcast episodes, and speaking at the Patient Symposium at Spring Clinical Meetings.
