NKF President 1995-96
Alan Hull, MD, was NKF President from 1994–1996 and instrumental in NKF expanding its footprint in Washington, DC, testifying before Congress to expand kidney disease funding. He helped found Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA), the area’s second dialysis center, achieving superior patient outcomes, establishing local transplant programs, and providing research and academic training. Dr. Hull coordinated efforts to provide life-saving dialysis in underserved communities worldwide. He was the recipient of NKF’s Donald W. Seldin Distinguished Award, recognizing excellence in clinical nephrology.
