Dr. Francis L. Delmonico is a renowned transplant surgeon and professor whose career spans more than 35 years at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. A former NKF Board member and recipient of the David M. Hume Lifetime Achievement Award, he has shaped transplantation policies internationally. His leadership with the World Health Organization, The Transplantation Society, and the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group helped establish ethical standards for organ donation.
