Board Member
Doreen Griffith is a Partner with Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and serves on the Board of Directors of Grant Thornton LLP. Based in Dallas, she brings more than three decades of experience in the tax and professional services industry, including more than 22 years in leadership roles at Grant Thornton.
Griffith has held numerous senior leadership positions across the firm, including Dallas Market Managing Partner and Growth Leader, California Managing Partner, National Managing Partner of Tax Services, West Region Tax Practice Leader, and Office Managing Partner in Honolulu. She has led large, multidisciplinary teams across geographies, supporting complex clients in industries such as technology, real estate, food and beverage, hospitality, gaming, and financial services.
Recognized for her strategic leadership and commitment to excellence, Griffith has been honored as one of the Bay Area’s Most Influential Women by the San Francisco Business Times, one of the Most Inspiring Leaders by the Dallas Business Journal, and a Forbes Best in State CPA.
In addition to her professional work, Griffith is deeply engaged in community leadership. She serves as Board Chair of the American Heart Association Dallas Board and participates in several business and civic organizations, including the Dallas Regional Chamber Executive Women’s Roundtable, the International Women’s Forum, and the Louisiana Tech University College of Business Advisory Board. She previously chaired the Hawaii State Board of Public Accountancy and is a member of both the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Griffith earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting, graduating summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University.
