This educational program will focus on enhancing clinical understanding of IgA nephropathy (IgAN).
The program will address disease burden and the risk of progression in IgAN; provide an explanation of IgAN pathogenesis and the 4-hit process; and highlight the role of the cytokine APRIL as a key driver of the 4-hit process. This interactive discussion will also include a patient case scenario to help explain these key concepts.
