Sylvia E. Rosas, MD, MSCE, Immediate Past President NKF, is a nephrologist and epidemiologist at Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston. She is Director of the Latino Kidney Clinic and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and nephrologist at Beth Israel Deaconess. She received the NKF NE 2017 Physician of the Year and National Hispanic Medical Association Fellow of the Year Awards. She is an NKF volunteer, including NKF Spring Clinical Meetings committee, Young Investigator Forum judge, and member of the Scientific Advisory Board and NKF NE.
