Carolyn C. Cochran, LD, RD, CDE, served NKF for more than 30 years in multiple roles on the Council on Renal Nutrition (CRN), including National Chair and Executive Council. She was integral to numerous NKF Spring Clinicals Meetings, chaired the CRN Research Grant Selection Committee, and served on the Kidney Learning System Editorial Board. Her leadership at the NKF local level included the Board of Directors and the Medical Advisory Board in North Texas. Carolyn received NKF’s Distinguished Service and Renal Dietitian of the Year Awards.
