Transplant Advisory Committee Member
Shaina Fuller is the inaugural Transplant Navigator for New York City Health and Hospitals. Since January 2025, in the Transplant Navigation Program’s pilot phase, Shaina has been working to improve access to kidney transplant services for Health and Hospitals patients in Brooklyn.
Shaina received her undergraduate degree in Communications with a concentration in Global Health from Northwestern University. She received her master’s degree in public health with a focus on Community Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
In 2021, Shaina became a living kidney donor and her experience with the transplant process inspired her to pursue a career assisting and advocating for transplant candidates.
