About the presenters:

Dr. Kenar Jhaveri, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Associate Chief in the Division of Kidney Diseases and Hypertension at Northwell Health and Co-Director of Glomerular Center in Northwell Health, Great Neck, NY. He completed his residency training at Yale University New Haven Hospital in Internal Medicine and then a fellowship in Nephrology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell campus. He is the Editor-in-Chief of ASN Kidney News as well as the President, American Nephrologists of Indian Origin. He is very active in social media and PI and Co-PU in several clinical studies.

Dr. Purva Sharma, M.D. is a board certified Nephrologist and Co-Director of the Glomerular Disease Center at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Sharma completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut and Nephrology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is well-published and plays a key teaching role in various international nephrology organizations. She is also the Co-Director of Galdi Fellowship in Onco-Nephrology and Glomerular Diseases and heads the Glomerular Disease Trials and Research Division at Northwell.
