PEDIATRIC The Big Ask: The Big Give, First Steps to Transplant
Are you and your child interested in learning more about kidney transplant and living donation? If you answered yes, then this hybrid program is for you! In this interactive hybrid program, pediatric patients and families will learn about how to connect with a transplant center, the different types of transplants, and what to expect during the evaluation process and hear personal stories from kidney patients who have received a kidney transplant.

This program will include virtual components which will be held on April 23-25, 2024 from 6pm-7pm via Zoom A Webinar and in-person event will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1pm-4pm at the Holiday Inn South in Independence, Ohio.

2024 KIDNEY AND TRANSPLANT SYMPOSIUM

Dining with the Stars is the NKF of Greater Cincinnati's annual networking event, uniting more than 250 medical professionals, Cincinnati business leaders and our kidney community in the fight to end kidney disease. Local celebrities and chefs/restaurants serve delicious small dishes while we announce the 2024 NKF Award Honorees. NKF PEERS is a peer mentoring program, where kidney patients are connected via phone with trained mentors who have been there themselves. Peer mentors can share their experiences with dialysis, transplant, or living kidney donation with you.
Our Patient Information Help Line, NKF Cares, offers support for people affected by kidney disease, organ donation or transplantation. It's designed just for patients, family members and care partners. Speak with a trained specialist who will answer your questions and listen to your concerns
