PEDIATRIC The Big Ask: The Big Give, First Steps to Transplant

If you were unable to join us for our recent BABG Pediatric hybrid program, please see this video. In this program, pediatric patients and families will learn about how to connect with a transplant center, the different types of transplants, and what to expect during the evaluation process and hear personal stories from kidney patients who have received a kidney transplant.

Join us for Kostumes for Kidneys, a Pediatric Awareness event honoring children with CKD and their families on Thursday, October 24th at Akron Children's Hospital!

This event will feature speakers from the NKF and Akron Children's Hospital, as well as patient, family, and legislative speakers addressing the disease state in Ohio and beyond. Bring the family in your best kostumes and enjoy games, food, candy, vendors, and more!

Komedy for Kidneys

Komedy for Kidneys is NKF's annual networking event, uniting more than 250 medical professionals, c-suite level executives, and community leaders in the fight to end kidney disease. The event provides ample networking opportunities and honors several NKF Honorees that have gone above and beyond in their support of the mission.
The Komedy for Kidneys Main Event begins at 6:00pm. During this time, attendees will network with Northern Ohio's lead medical and business institutions. The Main Event is in a separate location from the theater, where the second half of the event will be held. The event program begins at 8:00pm and features a mission moment speaker, honorees, and impact report.

The Kidney Walk is the nation's largest walk to fight kidney disease. Held in nearly 70 communities, the event raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families and those at risk. Join the 550 Central Ohio residents in their walk to raise money for the kidney community.
