prescription drugsHow does the card work?
Show it to your pharmacist the next time you fill your prescription to receive savings of up to 75%.** All brand name and generic drugs are eligible for savings. The card can be used at more than 60,000 drug stores nationwide. See more information.

What are the benefits of using this card?
Plenty! Not only will you be able to save money on prescriptions, but Watertree Health will make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation for every discounted prescription using this card. At no cost to you, you will be helping us spread awareness of chronic kidney disease while saving some cash!

Saves you money, even if you have insurance
While it cannot be combined with your insurance, including prescription drug coverage through Medicaid or Medicare, there are several ways in which this card can save you money:

  • No coverage: Medication may not be covered by your health plan
  • High Deductibles: Some plans have a high deductible or require that the deductible be met before it will pay for medications
  • Co-pays: Even with a low co-pay on brand name or generic medications (e.g., $10-15/per), the cost of the medication can be even cheaper with the card (e.g., $6/per). Savings can add up quickly if you use the card frequently.

Look up savings on your medications by drug name and zip code. You’ll be amazed at how much prices can vary even within the same pharmacy chain, depending on location.

Not just for kidney disease patients
You can also share the card with your family and friends, so they can also save on their medications!

How do I get the card?
It’s simple. To instantly print, download, or get a card by email, click here or text "KidneyRx" to 95577.

Just present the card when you fill a prescription. It’s a good idea to have the pharmacy keep the card on file, along with your insurance card. So, when you fill a prescription, the technician can check the cost with both cards and apply the lower price. It’s that easy.

Are you a healthcare professional?
