Access & Affordability

Good kidney health begins when patients have access to high quality, affordable health care.  In partnership with other patient advocacy organizations, NKF supports efforts to ensure patients have access to preventive services, can afford their prescriptions, don’t face insurance barriers like prior authorization or high deductibles, have adequate choice of health plans and providers, aren’t denied care due to social determinants of health, and other protections.
