Onion Bagel Chips

Crisp homemade bagel chips with onion flavor. Lower sodium version makes this a kidney friendly snack option.

  • 2 Plain Bagels
  • 2 tbsp Margarine, melted
  • ½ tsp Onion powder

Directions
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 20 min, Total: 30 min
  1. Cut each bagel in half vertically
  2. Place one bagel half, cut side down, on a flat surface and cut vertically into 8 slices
  3. Repeat procedure with remaining bagel halves
  4. Place slices on baking sheet
  5. Combine melted margarine and onion powder
  6. Brush over bagels
  7. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes or until golden and crisp
  8. Remove from pan
  9. Cool completely
  10. Store in airtight container
